Biohazard Brings Judgement Night to Paper Tiger This October

Biohazard, one of the most influential names in hardcore, returns to San Antonio this fall for a night built on sweat, volume, and Brooklyn-born grit. The show lands at Paper Tiger on Wednesday, October 8, marking a rare opportunity to see the genre-defining band in an intimate setting.

Formed in the late ’80s and rising out of the New York hardcore scene, Biohazard helped lay the groundwork for the crossover between hardcore, metal, and hip-hop—fusing political urgency with streetwise intensity and drop-tuned riffing long before it became commonplace. Albums like Urban Discipline and State of the World Address remain touchstones for a generation of heavy music fans, and their live shows are still the stuff of legend: no gimmicks, just pure, pit-starting energy.

Joining them is Onyx, the iconic hip-hop duo behind “Slam,” who bring their own brand of aggressive, high-impact lyricism to the stage. In a rare and fitting crossover moment, their set will match Biohazard’s raw power with old-school bravado and street-level punch.

Rounding out the bill are Bayway, a fast-rising hardcore outfit out of New Jersey blending East Coast tradition with modern urgency, and Swollen Teeth, whose masked industrial-metal chaos has earned them praise for pushing boundaries while keeping things violently grounded.

This lineup doesn’t just nod to history—it kicks the door open with it.

Doors open at 7PM. Show starts at 8PM. This is an all-ages event.
