Corey Taylor’s “CMFTour 2021” stormed into San Antonio with a visceral blend of searing rock and pyrotechnic spectacle. Sharing the stage with him were the CHERRY BOMBS, a fierce ensemble of dancers led by his wife, Alicia Taylor, whose fiery routines and aerial acrobatics ignited the night.

This tour is more than just a performance for Taylor; it's a deeply personal crusade. Known for delivering unforgettable live shows, Taylor is also championing the cause of an industry ravaged by the global pandemic. His relentless commitment to live music has been evident through his initiatives, like the eBay guitar auction that raised $150,000 for COVID-19 relief and his intimate, socially-distanced L.A. show benefitting the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund.
“It’s the full shebang,” Taylor shared with Rolling Stone. “The CHERRY BOMBS are gonna do their thing with fire, aerial stunts, and all the good stuff, then me and the boys will get up and play for, like, two hours.”
The tour's inception was a blend of necessity and passion. “We’d been itching to play, but it wasn’t until a promoter friend asked about our safety measures that we knew we could make it happen,” Taylor explained. “We’re pulling out all the stops: social distancing, pod seating, temperature checks, waivers, and masks. Plus, we’re urging everyone to get vaccinated before coming out.”
Taylor is no stranger to making headlines. Recently, he clinched the No. 1 spot on Active Rock Radio with his hit single “Black Eyes Blue,” making history as the first artist to achieve this with three different projects—SLIPKNOT, STONE SOUR, and now his solo venture.

His solo album “CMFT” has been a juggernaut, debuting at No. 1 on Billboard’s Current Hard Rock Albums chart and charting impressively across various categories. The album’s global success includes Top 10 placements in Australia, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria, and Top 20 debuts in the UK, Finland, and Japan.
Every note and flame of the “CMFTour 2021” is a testament to the resilience and irreplaceable spirit of live music. Taylor and his entourage are not just performing; they’re resurrecting the essence of rock, reaffirming its power and the indomitable community that supports it.
