DELILAH, JULIET & THE LORAX —WE THE KINGS & PLAIN WHITE T’S RECAP.
[a blend of] live performances with curated nostalgia, drawing fans across multiple generations of alternative pop-rock.
Emo Nite put united fans of Delilah and Juliet this weekend for the co-headline tour between We the Kings & Plain White T’s with an Emo Nite DJ set as support. The event blended live performances with curated nostalgia, drawing fans across multiple generations of alternative pop-rock.
We The Kings delivered a headlining set centered around their catalog of early 2000s anthems. In a recent interview with The Maneater, frontman Travis Clark reflected on how longevity has shaped the band’s relationship with their audience—an observation that aligned closely with the tone of the night’s performance.

Plain White T’s followed with a set built around their recognizable singles, including “Hey There Delilah.” The group, who recently discussed their ongoing tour in MySA, maintained the kind of familiarity that anchored the night’s theme. During their performance, the Lorax—a costumed figure who had appeared weeks earlier onstage at The All-American Rejects’ San Antonio show—made another unplanned appearance, briefly joining the band mid-set (MySA, 2025).

The Emo Nite DJ set tied the evening together, rotating between scene staples and 2000s-era hits that have come to define the collective’s touring brand. With each iteration of Emo Nite Presents, the formula remains consistent: a mix of nostalgia, accessibility, and curated throwback atmosphere.
The merge of live band performances with the social energy of an afterparty may be the next revolution for mainstream entertainment. For attendees, the Delilah vs. Juliet tour can become both concert and collective memory, framed by a sense of self-aware revivalism that has made Emo Nite a recurring fixture in cities nationwide.
