Silverstein Rocks San Antonio: A Fan’s Perspective

San Antonio, Texas - On December 6, 2023, I had the incredible opportunity to see Silverstein at the Vibes Event Center, celebrating the 10-year anniversary of their album “This is How the Wind Shifts.” As a long-time fan, this night was nothing short of amazing.

Doors opened at 6:30, and the excitement was palpable. Avoid! kicked off the night with an explosive set that immediately got everyone pumped. Their energy was infectious, and they really set the stage for what was to come.

Next up was Stray From the Path, and they absolutely crushed it. Their intense performance and powerful stage presence had the crowd going wild. Mosh pits were in full swing!

When Silverstein finally hit the stage, the venue erupted. Hearing them play “This is How the Wind Shifts” in its entirety was a dream come true. The band’s energy and passion were palpable, and they connected with the audience on such a deep level. Shane Told’s vocals were on point, and the band sounded tighter than ever. It was like being transported back to the first time I heard the album, but with the added magic of a live performance.

The night was everything I hoped it would be and more. From Avoid!’s energetic start to Stray From the Path’s powerful set, and finally Silverstein’s unforgettable performance, it was a night to remember. As I left the Vibes Event Center, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the incredible experience and excited for the next time Silverstein comes back to San Antonio.
