French Police Bring Their Cinematic Sound to The Aztec Theatre This Fall

French Police, the Chicago-based post-punk outfit known for their atmospheric grooves and noir-tinged soundscapes, will bring their North America 2025 tour to the Aztec Theatre on Saturday, October 25. With a style that blends coldwave minimalism, dreamy guitar textures, and emotionally detached vocals, the band has carved out a niche that feels both retro and eerily modern.

Opening the night is Riki, the Los Angeles-based synth-pop artist whose music channels the glamour and melancholy of '80s new wave through a modern lens. With icy synths, dancefloor-ready beats, and a voice that slips between vulnerability and confidence, Riki brings a dramatic elegance to the stage that perfectly complements French Police’s cinematic style. Her set promises a mix of dark romance and glossy nostalgia—an ideal prelude to the night’s immersive atmosphere.

For fans of moody melody and minimalist intensity, this show promises more than just a setlist—it’s an atmosphere. French Police doesn’t just perform songs, they build a world around them. On October 25, San Antonio steps into it.

Doors open at 7PM. Show starts at 8PM. All ages welcome.
