The Question has remained a touchstone of mid-2000s post-hardcore and screamo, often referenced as a defining release of its era. Vice listed the album alongside other “no-skip” staples of the millennial screamo generation (Vice), framing its endurance as both nostalgic and still functional in a live setting. Sharing the bill, As Cities Burn performed their 2009 record Hell or High Water. Known for its shift toward alt-rock textures, the album has remained a divisive but pivotal entry in their discography. The Classic Crime followed suit with a performance of their debut Albatross. Originally released in 2006, the record helped establish the band’s reputation for melody-driven songwriting that carried them beyond their early label years. Good Terms opened the evening, representing a newer generation on a lineup otherwise anchored in retrospective sets.

By keeping the focus on full-album performances, the show avoided the format of standard touring sets. Instead, the San Antonio stop functioned as an intentional retrospective, designed around the endurance of albums that remain central to fans nearly two decades later.
