Kublai Khan TX was moved outside at Vibes Event Enter on Friday, October 10, 2025, to accommodate a sold-out show featuring Drain, Gideon, and Guilt Trip. The performance was part of the band’s U.S. fall run announced earlier this year (The Rock Revival, 2025), marking one of the heaviest lineups to hit the venue’s outdoor stage this season.

Kublai Khan TX has continued to operate as one of the most consistent fixtures in modern hardcore, carrying their Texas roots across international circuits. Their new single “The Mountain of Corsicana,” released earlier this year through Rise Records, has been cited by New Noise Magazine as an example of the band’s direct and uncompromising approach to songwriting (New Noise Magazine, 2025). The San Antonio date placed that new material in front of a packed audience, one of the tour’s earliest sellouts.

Drain joined as direct support, maintaining the crossover energy they’ve become known for through their blend of hardcore and thrash. Gideon’s set balanced groove and aggression, while Guilt Trip delivered a sharp opening slot rooted in U.K. metallic hardcore.

The atmosphere throughout the evening reflected the current strength of the genre’s live circuit — Warped Tour Visuals, heavy pacing, and audience response driving momentum on a classic asphalt lot. The outdoor setup at Vibes Event Center gave the show an open format uncommon for most hardcore tours.

By the end of the night, Kublai Khan TX’s presence underscored why they’ve remained a cornerstone act within their scene: consistent, grounded, and fully connected to their base without deviation from form.
