Swifties flooded The Rock Box on Friday, October 3rd as Mark Facet, DJ Pastiche & Twin Productions hosted The Life of a Showgirl: Taylor Swift Album Release Party. The event marked the largest turnout of the year for the pair, drawing 530+ attendees to a night centered on celebration, spectacle, and a historical announcement for 2026.

Throughout the evening, Facet’s signature hosting style kept an unbelievably low fall off— mixing humor, high energy, and moments of improvisation that have made him a recognizable name across San Antonio’s nightlife. As featured in a recent Bold Journey profile, Facet’s trajectory as a performer has been rooted in community-driven events that emphasize “finding your people“ over curation. That sense of interaction was visible at The Rock Box, where he proposed to a a record of 22 attendees mid-show. Completely fabricated of course —in the spirit of love story by Taylor Swift.

The night functioned both as a Taylor Swift listening celebration and as a preview of what’s next for the Twin Productions Team. Club Taylor — a new yearlong residency at The Rock Box for 2026, featuring monthly listening sessions and dance parties focusing on each Swift album went public. Well received, we’re still eager to see if 12 months of dance events will satiate San Antonio Swifties. The Debut Party, so appropriately named, is set for January 10th 2026.

Interest in Taylor Swift–related programming has remained strong across the city, with local coverage highlighting the continued draw of themed events (MySA, 2025). Facet’s recurring productions have consistently tapped into that audience, merging fan enthusiasm with performance-based hosting.

The Life of a Showgirl served as a pivot point — closing out the year of Dance Parties but still signaling a broader creative path for Mark Facet’s 2026 residency.
