You will Find Leftöver Crack in San Antonio …on Tour this December
"Known for merging ska, hardcore, and crust punk into an often chaotic but purposeful whole"
December of ‘25 marks the first time in years that New York’s Leftover Crack will bring its genre-splicing, politically charged sound back to San Antonio. The show is set for Vibes Underground on Dec. 13th in the heart of the Alamo City.
Formed out of the East Coast’s squatter punk scene, Leftover Crack have long been a flashpoint in conversations around music and activism. Known for merging ska, hardcore, and crust punk into an often chaotic but purposeful whole, the band built its reputation on songs that confront police brutality, racism, and systemic injustice. As Westword noted earlier this year, the group’s following has remained steady because “few bands have kept their edge as sharply honed” across decades of shifting musical climates .

San Antonio fans can expect more than just a headliner. Pittsburgh’s World’s Scariest Police Chases—a band whose irreverent approach to punk is matched by its high-speed delivery—are on board to open the night. Their presence underscores the tongue-in-cheek absurdity and satire that has threaded through underground punk in the 2010s and beyond.
For Leftover Crack, 2025 has been a year of renewed activity. The band resurfaced with a premiere of “White Guilt Atrocity Quilt,” a track and video exclusive shared with Dying Scene, which reaffirmed their position as provocateurs who are unafraid to make audiences uncomfortable . Pairing that with their reputation for volatile live sets, the San Antonio date is positioned as one of the more confrontational punk shows of the winter.

The underground setting at Vibes only adds to the anticipation. A room known for hosting heavy and politically driven acts, its compact size and low ceiling give a confrontational energy that aligns with the band’s ethos.
